To accomplish our goal of a safe and healthy learning
and work environment, the Asbestos & Lead Management Programs encompass
the following elements:
- Provide consultation and act as expert resource to the campus
community
- Develop and implement safe work practices
- Conduct on-going building surveys and safety inspections
- Conduct air quality and employee exposure monitoring
- Develop and maintain web-based access to survey data
- Provide project specifications & oversight of abatement actions
- Evaluate and pre-qualify abatement contractors and consultants
- Develop and deliver awareness training tailored to Stanford's
physical facilities
- Coordinate earthquake preparedness resources and response actions
