Welcome to our website!!! We are honored that you would visit us and take the time to learn about our national organization, our chapter, and our members – both past and present.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is an exemplary organization founded on a legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. We were the first African-American interest sorority founded in the United States on the campus of Howard University in January of 1908. This year, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is proudly celebrating its 100^th anniversary.  Since our inception in 1908, we have responded to the world's increasing complexity by empowering communities through our service initiatives and progressive programs.
