Lunar New Year begins January 23, 2012! ASF is hosting a Lunar New Year "Tea" to welcome the "Year of the Dragon". Please join us to enjoy tea and sweets and to swap stories of family traditions for New Year's.

Please bring a dessert to share. Hot tea will be provided. You are very welcome to BYO lunch, of course.

Please RSVP by Friday, February 3, to Cindy Cho. In your RSVP, please indicate:

• what dessert you plan to bring

• if you have any dietary restrictions

P.S. We are RICH with staff bringing a wealth of cultural experiences to Stanford! We would love to hear of New Year traditions from all over the Asian and Pacific Islander map -- lunar new year or otherwise, "old country" traditional or "Americanized". Hope you'll come to the tea and broaden our cultural horizons with your traditions and recollections!
