HAT Programming Features
For advanced users, HAT is programmable through a standard COM+ interface. This means that anyone using Visual Basic or C# can use all of the powerful tracking, image processing and trajectory analysis machinery built into HAT. No more 'it isn't in the program, we can't do it' or 'it's too complicated to learn' -- anyone from novice users to advanced programmers can use HAT tools with little overhead. From the simplest particle shape analysis project to the most complex population analysis of trajectory-image cross-correlations, HAT was designed with simplicity, flexibility and power in mind.
