STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Join the Catholic Community and the Interns on Good Friday, March 21 from
3pm-4:30pm for Stations of the Cross in the Foothills, a spiritual
pilgrimage of prayer and meditation that depicts the Passion of the
Christ. It will take place at the Stanford Foothills (at the corner of
Stanford Ave. and Junipero Serra) and we will be meeting in front of the
guard station right at the foot of the trail. Please bring water and wear
sunscreen and/or a hat as well as comfortable shoes (no flipflops or high
heels please). E-mail the Interns (abarba@stanford.edu) if you have any
questions. Hope to see you there!
VISITA IGLESIA
On Holy Thursday, after the Mass of the Lord's Supper, a group of students
will embark on a "Visita Iglesia," a tradition of visiting seven different
churches on Holy Thursday to pray and adore the Blessed Sacrament. We
will leave from the Main Quad shortly after Stanford's Mass ends (about
9:30 pm) and return to campus by 12:30. Students have found it to be an
enjoyable and prayer-filled experience in the past, and a unique
opportunity to join with other local churches in adoring Christ in
preparation for the celebration of his death and resurrection. If you are
interested, email Michael Davenport (mdavenpo@stanford.edu) (let me know
if you'd be willing to drive in the email as well).
TAIZE EVENING PRAYER
Join C@S and UCCM for an inter-religious Taize evening prayer this
Tuesday, March 18th, in the Sanctuary on the Third Floor of Old Union. If

If you've never done Taize prayer, we highly encourage you to attend. It's
a beautiful meditative prayer service with singing. Join us for this often
spiritual and always refreshing event!

students to participate in "Birthday Blessings for Pope Benedict XVI: A
gift of public service from U.S. Catholic youth and students," a campaign
seeking service hours in honor of the Holy Father's birthday. Students in
schools, religious education programs, colleges and seminaries from all
over the U.S. are being asked to complete or pledge (for completion by May
31, 2008) community service time in the name of the Pope. Activities could
include efforts in which students are already involved, those that reflect
the mission of the church to serve others, simply any kind of service that
helps others. You can pledge individually at http://ncea.catholic.org or
send an e-mail to the Interns (cestella@stanford.edu) for more information
