Saturday, 17 October 2009: Interfaith Choral Workshop

The Chorale participates in the Interfaith Choral Workshop. Former Director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Stanford alum, Craig Jessop, conducts Mendelssohn's Elijah with the Stanford Philharmonia and choristers from Northern California.

The Chorale opens its 2009-2010 season with a program of choral works celebrating the flower in song.

Join the Stanford Chamber Chorale and the Stanford Memorial Church Choir for the annual festival of lessons and carols based on the service as presented at King's College, Cambridge.

Friday, 5 March 2010: Tour Farewell Concert

Bid the Stanford Chamber Chorale farewell on their spring tour to Washington DC. Featuring works from the Renaissance, British, American, folk song and spiritual traditions, and excerpts from J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (St. John Passion).





Sunday, 21 March 2010: Washington DC Tour Concert 1

2:00 P.M. The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church (1313 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC). Admission: free

A collaborative concert with the George Mason University Singers in the sanctuary of one of the capitol's most famous historic churches.





Saturday, 27 March 2010: Washington DC Tour Concert 2

1:00 P.M. Smithsonian American Art Museum, Kogod Courtyard (8th and F Streets NW, Washington, DC). Admission: free

A family-friendly concert featuring selections from the Chorale's tour repertoire including works from British, American, folk song and spiritual traditions.





Sunday, 28 March 2010: Washington DC Tour Concert 3

6:30 P.M. National Gallery of Art, West Building Main Floor, West Garden Court (4th and Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC). Admission: free

A concert with renowned period instrument ensembles Chatham Baroque and National Gallery of Art Chamber Players featuring excerpts from J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (St. John Passion). Preconcert talk: "The Passion in Art and Music" by David Gariff 6:00 p.m., West Building Lecture Hall





Saturday, 17 April 2010: Mt. Shasta Concert

8:00 P.M. Mt. Shasta Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Admission: free

Presented as part of the Chorale's educational outreach events in Mt. Shasta, CA.

Directions: 1-5 to Exit 736 (highway 89) Proceed 1 mile and turn left (just before the chain control area) Bear to the right - church is up the hill





Saturday, 24 April 2010: Department of Music Admit Weekend Showcase Concert

8:00 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: free

A special program for students admitted to the class of 2014 and their families and friends, featuring a broad range of ensemble and solo performances from students in the Department of Music.





Friday, 30 April 2010: Stanford Invitational Choral Festival

7:30 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: free

An annual celebration of the choral art with the Stanford Chamber Chorale along with other ensembles from Stanford University and Northern California.





Saturday, 15 May 2010: Spring Concert

The Chorale closes its formal 2009-2010 season with Poulenc's Mass, and Fauré's beloved Requiem.

A concert featuring repertoire from the Chorale's spring tour.





Sunday, 13 June 2010: Commencement Family Concert

Admission: free

An informal 45-minute concert for family and friends visiting campus for Commencement.
