Thursday, 7 October 2010: Daniel Pearl World Music Day Concert

The Chorale opens the annual Daniel Pearl World Music Day Concert at Stanford with Jonathan Berger's haunting and elegant setting of Psalm 90.





Saturday, 13 November 2010: Fall Concert "Remember"

8:00 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: general $10 | senior $9 | student $5

The Chorale opens its 2010-2011 season with a program of choral works featuring the theme of memory, remembering, and remembrance. Works by Farrant, Berger, Howells, Finzi, Pearsall, Delius, Barber, Moran, Mantyjarvi, Chihara, Hamilton, Chatman, and Daley.





Saturday, 4 December 2010: Friends of Music Holiday Musicale

2:30 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: general $10 | senior $9 | student $5

The Stanford Chamber Chorale and the Stanford Symphony Orchestra celebrate the holidays with a program of seasonal works and carols.





Friday, 28 January 2011: Candlelight Concert

8:00 P.M. St. Mary the Virgin Episcopal Church, San Francisco
Admission: free, suggested $20 donation

A concert of pre-Reformation English music featuring the Chorale, organist Robert Huw Morgan, and the new Hupalo & Repasky Tudor-style organ on loan to Stanford, but moved to San Francisco especially for this concert.

Saturday, 19 February 2011: Workshop with the Los Angeles Children's Chorus Chamber Singers (closed event)

12:30 P.M. Campbell Recital Hall (Braun Music Center)

The Chamber Chorale welcomes the Chamber Singers of the Los Angeles Children's Chorus, one of the country's leading youth choirs, for an afternoon of sharing the choral art.





Sunday, 20 February 2011: Concert with the Los Angeles Children's Chorus Chamber Singers

1:30 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: free

The Chamber Chorale presents the Chamber Singers of the Los Angeles Children's Chorus, one of the country's leading youth choirs, with their director Anne Tomlinson in concert in the magnificent acoustic of Stanford Memorial Church. The Chorale will join the LACC Chamber Singers for two pieces on the program.





Friday, 4 March 2011: Winter Concert "Illumine"

A celebration of choral repertoire featuring the theme of light. Morten Lauridsen's Lux aeterna with orchestra, Grammy Award nominee and Stanford alum Christopher Tin's Lux aeterna for treble solo and orchestra, the world premiere of Giancarlo Aquilanti's Lux aeterna, and other a cappella choral works.





Saturday, 5 March 2011: Concert with the Duke University Chorale

8:00 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: free

The Stanford Chamber Chorale welcomes the Duke University Chorale for one of their west coast tour concerts, and joins with the Duke Chorale to present works by Whitacre and Lauridsen in collaboration.





Saturday, 16 April 2011: Concert with the Choir of the Royal Holloway, University of London

8:00 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: free

The Chorale welcomes to Stanford the Choir of the Royal Holloway, University of London, one of the UK's leading mixed-voice collegiate choirs. The two choirs will present a collaborative concert, singing both separately and together. Gramophone magazine has lauded the Choir of the Royal Holloway and queries "What more can you possibly ask for?" The Times (London) raves "The mixed choir of Royal Holloway College makes a truly fabulous sound under the assured direction of Rupert Gough."





Friday, 29 April 2011: Stanford Invitational Choral Festival

8:00 P.M. Stanford Memorial Church
Admission: free

An annual celebration of the choral art with the Stanford Chamber Chorale and the Stanford Memorial Church Choir, and their guests the UC Berkeley Chamber Choir, the Ragazzi Boys Chorus ensemble of young men and boys, and the Masterworks Chorale of San Mateo.





Saturday, 30 April 2011: Department of Music Admit Weekend Showcase Concert

Admission: free

A special program for students admitted to the class of 2015 and their families and friends, featuring the Chamber Chorale, Stanford Taiko, the Stanford Laptop Orchestra (SLOrk), and student soloists from the Department of Music.

Bid the Chorale "Itterashai" (Japanese for "farewell" when you expect one to return again!) on its tour to Japan. Featuring repertoire from the Chorale's two-week tour to Japan including British and American choral works, Frank Ferko's stunning setting Lord, let at last thine angels come for chorus, soprano solo and solo 'cello, American and Japanese folk song arrangements, African American spirituals, and even a little Okinawan-pop and tight-harmony vocal jazz!

The Chorale performs in the stunning lobby of the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum on their Lobby Concert Series.

5:00 P.M. Kure-shi Cultural Center Hall.
Admission: free

The Chorale performs as guest artists at the Hiroshima Prefecture Choral Association Okaasan Choral Competition.
