3 THE BALL

The ball:

a. shall be spherical, hard and of any material

b. weight: minimum 51/2 ounces, maximum 5 3/4 ounces

c. circumference: minimum 8 13/16 inches, maximum 9 1/4 inches

d. surface: smooth but seam of indentations permitted

e. colour: white or as agreed.
