NOTICE: This is a heads up that SPOT will be borrowing all of Redwood's gear soon, so the gear shed will be closed for a couple weeks. Here is the gear shed schedule:
August 27 - Open for returns and one-week rentals
September 3 - Open for returns only. All rented gear must be returned on this day!
September 10 - Closed.
September 17 - Open as normal. On the days we are open, gear shed hours will be 8-9pm as usual.

What Redwood does:

• Leads Trips - Our volunteers lead many fun trips every quarter! You can see some examples in the trip reports.
• Rents Gear - We rent inexpensive backpacking, cross country skiing, and general camping gear.
• Occasionally we sponsor a Wilderness First Responder course. Watch this webpage or join the mailing list for information on the next course.

The Redwood Outdoor Club is a student run outdoor group at Stanford University. We plan trips before each quarter during the school year, but also encourage people to plan their own trips if they are interested. Redwood rents out backpacking and some winter camping gear.

Due to university insurance policies, we are required to restrict our membership and services to Stanford students, faculty, and staff.
