At Stanford

"Kristin is an extremely talented athlete who is playing two sports (volleyball and basketball) here at Stanford," said VanDerveer. "She has been very dedicated to both sports. She is a great leaper, a very skilled player who gets the job done, a fine rebounder. When she joins our team after the volleyball season is over, we hope it won't be too long before she gets into basketball shape. But we'll certainly be looking forward to that day when she does join us."...Before joining the Cardinal in the fall, Kristin competed in the Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia -- where she and her team earned a silver medal in volleyball...She is considered an Olympic prospect in both sports.
