Student Life
The learning experience at Stanford continues outside the classroom through community centers, student clubs and organizations, athletics, ASSU (the student government), the Office of Religious Life and the Haas Center for Public Service. In addition, the Office of the Vice Provost of Student Affairs oversees numerous services for students and notes them on its website. Registrar's Office & Course Information
The Registrar's Office, which maintains students' academic records, publishes the Stanford Bulletin course catalog, sets the academic calendar, and maintains Axess, the academic computer system used by students, faculty and advisors.
Libraries
Stanford Libraries contain more than eight million volumes and maintain an online catalog called Socrates.
Computing & Communication
Residential Computing brings computing resources to students in on-campus housing. CourseWork, Stanford's course management system, is one of a number of technology services provided by Academic Computing. The Computing & Communication website is the central source for information about Stanford's technology based tools, from software and servers to cell phones and networks.
Getting Around
Parking and Transportation provides information about the freshmen parking policy, parking permits for resident and non-resident students and the Marguerite free shuttle schedule and maps. SURE Escort provides a safe ride across campus.
