Office of IH (or Program or Resource Center in IH) at Stanford University

To facilitate a multidisciplinary network of faculty and students at Stanford  interested in clinical, research and/or public service international health work both locally and globally. Connect with UCSF, Berkeley and other programs across the country and internationally



        To facilitate a multidisciplinary network of faculty, students and residents interested in IH, which would include 3 components

                        Electives       
                Research
                        Basic science

Goals

         To encourage the development of courses and curricula related to IH with multidisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration

         To encourage the development of clinical electives and research projects related to IH
 with CLEAR educational objectives and evaluation criteria

         To promote the sharing of resources and information about international health among disciplines across campus, Bay area, nationally and internationally.

To facilitate the development of IH career tracks and short term clinical work/ /research/service learning opportunities for students,  residents and faculty

 

         To serve as a clearing house of resources for international health service opportunities

 

         To serve as a network of advisors in international health topics

 

          To educate the Stanford community about International Health

 

         To obtain funding to support students and faculty interested in IH
