MINOS and SNOPT are two of many solvers accessible via GAMS and AMPL and certain other systems.
GAMS users should use the GAMS/MINOS Solver Manual and GAMS/SNOPT Solver Manual.
AMPL users may use the MINOS and SNOPT guides here to study the run-time options.
